Police arrested a 45-year-old woman and 43-year-old man on Tuesday after the bomb material was found at a Heath St property in Pascoe Vale. The pair was wanted after a pipe bomb was left on the front porch of a family home on Derby St, Pascoe Vale on Sunday. Police and the bomb squad descended on the quiet suburban street on Sunday morning after residents found the bomb. Kathryn Ellard said she opened the front door and found the pipe bomb lying on the doormat with a partly burnt-out fuse. The pair faces a string of charges, including making an explosive substance endangering life, making an explosive substance without an excuse and reckless conduct endangering life among other charges.
