The state recorded another 78 new cases with an alarming 21 of those infectious in the community on Tuesday. The new cases sparked concerns for several exposure sites with some in regional parts of the state, hundreds of kilometres from the original outbreak. Current exposure alerts now stretch as far west as Hay and as far north as Coffs Harbour. A full list of exposure sites can be found here. A statement from NSW Health issued just before 10pm said the orders followed health advice from chief health officer Kerry Chant about “growing risk to the community”.
